Libby's Malyevac medalist at Whitefish Invitational

Libby’s Reece Malyevac was the medalist at the Whitefish Invitational on Tuesday.

Malyevac scored 70 at Whitefish Lake Golf Club to take top honors in the boys tournament. He finished three strokes ahead of Corvallis’ Brady Powell. As a team, the Loggers placed fifth with a score of 357. Host Whitefish won with 322.

Also planing in the Top 15 for the Loggers was Mason Gotham (82).

In the girls competition, Libby’s Mackenzie Foss was the Lady Loggers top finisher in eighth place with a 107. Libby was fourth with a score of 534.

East Helena’s Tayler Hadley was first overall with a 90. Whitefish had the top team score with 446.
