Connie Sue Lowe, 69
In the early morning hours of March 16, 2022, Connie Sue Lowe passed away at the age of 69 and went to meet the Lord after struggling valiantly for nearly nine months from brain injuries resulting from a fall.
Connie was born on August 30, 1952, in Beaver, Okla. She was the daughter of Robert L. and Dorothy Belle Kilgore and was raised in the small town of Tyrone, Okla.
She graduated from the local high school and was the only girl in a class of seven students.
A few years after high school, she began driving trucks and soon realized this was what she wanted to do for a living.
For over 26 years, she long-hauled from coast to coast, eventually driving in all the lower 48 states, with many trips into Canada. For her efforts, she received more than a few Safe Driver awards.
Connie moved to Libby in 1998 and two years later, met her future husband, Willy Lowe. They were married on April 23, 2002, and spent their first five years together living in the Yaak before returning to Libby in 2007.
It didn’t take long to realize they were living in the most beautiful place in the United States. Ten years ago, they bought property at the end of Vick’s Lane and spent many happy hours together sitting on the banks of Libby Creek enjoying the abundant wildlife.
Connie enjoyed being outdoors camping, hunting, riding four-wheelers, and most of all, she loved fishing.
Survivors include her loving husband, Willy of Libby; stepson, Andrew Lowe (Lisa); and two beautiful grandchildren, Waylon and Lilly, all from Eureka.
She will forever be greatly missed by her friends in Libby and Troy and mostly by her husband Willy who loved her with his whole heart and soul. God Bless this Oklahoma cowgirl.
