Input sought on underground Town Pump tankage
State environmental officials seek public input on 11 underground storage tanks proposed for the new 8,000-square-foot Town Pump convenience store underway in Troy.
The Montana Department of Environmental Quality wants the input for its draft environmental assessment on the tank installations, before proceeding with a determination moving forward.
“Options for next steps may include an Environmental Impact Statement, a revised EA, a final decision with modifications deemed necessary based on analysis in the EA and/or public comment, or that the EA is adequate and adopted as final,” DEQ said in a recent release.
The draft assessment and additional information on submitting public comment is available at: deq.mt.gov/news/publiccomment-folder/news-article68.
