Jacqueline Sue Reid-Rhoades

Jacqueline Sue Reid-Rhoades went to be with the Lord on Aug. 30, 2021. She was born to Herbert and Linda Damwijk on June 16, 1974. She was the second of four children.

Jackie grew up in Agua Dulce, Calif. She enjoyed spending time with her grandparents, dad, sister and brothers. They all enjoyed fishing, cooking, riding dirt bikes and going on adventures together.

She became a mom in 1999, giving birth to her son, Jarred. She loved being a mom; it was her true calling in life.

Upon moving to Montana, she became an active member of Troy Community Baptist Church. She volunteered and gave to her church with her whole heart. They all welcomed her with open arms and became her family away from home.

On July 17, 2021, she married the love of her life, Michael Rhoades. They shared many adventures and memories in their short time together. On Sept. 13, 2021, Michael went to join her with the Lord.

She is survived by her son, Jarred; sister, Vera; and her brothers, Herbie and John.

Jackie’s celebration of life will be held Sept. 25 at 1 p.m. at Troy Community Baptist Church.
