The 2021 Kootenai Harvest Festival will take place at Riverfront Park from noon until 6 p.m. on Sept. 18.

The family-oriented gathering promises local vendor shopping, a meal sourced from local producers and live music, according to a release from the Kootenai Harvest Festival Committee.

Revelers will be able to enjoy a dance performance by Karina Hancook Dance Studio, a cider press, beer garden and games including tug-o-war, a straw pit, sack races and putt-putt.

The Harvest Meal served by Gracious Table will cost $12 a person and will be available starting at noon for on-site eating or take-out.

The Libby Chamber of Commerce and The Farmers Market at Libby are the sponsors of the Harvest Festival. Organizers intend both the annual harvest festival and the weekly farmers market to serve as a place for local farmers, artists and crafters to interact with the community. Sponsors expect the harvest festival to host more than 40 vendors — or twice as many vendors — as the farmers market.

Prospective vendors can pick up an application for the festival at the Libby Chamber of Commerce office, the farmers market, or online. Any questions about the event should be directed to the chamber office at 406-293-4167.
