Chance David Collier, 20

| June 25, 2021 7:00 AM

Chance David Collier, 20, died on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 in Kalispell. He was born June 14, 2000, in Libby.

Chance attended Libby and Columbia Falls public schools, excelling in wrestling and football. Chance had currently been working for Roseburg Forest Products in Missoula, making many friends along the way.

Chance never met a stranger! Always the life of the party, he could change the mood of the entire room with his goofiness, beautiful smile and his contagious laugh. He had a deep respect for his elders, and enjoyed listening to and learning from their stories. He always loved getting his Nanny’s one-of-a-kind, cottage cheese cookies.

Chance was a hard worker, always believing that hard work and a good paycheck would make his dreams come true. He was fulfilling his goals, already purchasing his 2016 BMW at 20 years of age.

Chance loved the Lord, his family, his countless friends and the family dog, Sammy. He was the kind of boy that made sure to either call or message his momma daily, just to see how things were going back home. Chance found his joy and happiness in seeing and making others happy. There are countless stories of how he helped many people through hard times.

His beautiful smile, contagious laugh, his love for others, and, of course, those gorgeous, one-of-a-kind, blue angel eyes will never be forgotten. He will forever live on in our hearts and memories until we meet again. Fly high, our beautiful guardian angel!

Chance is survived by his mother, Denise Searles; stepfather, Bryan Searles; dad, Brett Collier; brothers, Brandon, Andrew and Ty Collier; grandparents, Larry and Liz Williams; aunts and uncles, Glynda Olson, Joey and Veronica Meacham, Bill Meacham and David Meacham; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Glenn and Joanne Collier.

Services for Chance were held June 16, 2021, at Schnackenberg Funeral Home Chapel in Libby. Online condolences and memories may be shared by visiting www.schnackenbergfh.com.
