Robert E. Lee, 72, of Marion passed away unexpectedly May 24, 2021. He did not make it to 99 years old and was not shot by a jealous husband while crawling out a window, but he never grew up.
Always up for a party, Robert was a friend to all and devoted to family. Robert is also remembered as a Marine as well as starting Libby Cab, his 19 years at Nickel Cars and his bolt hat.
Robert is survived by eight children, 21 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren — with one more on the way — four brothers and his favorite sister, two step parents, and many nieces and nephews.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, J.W. Lee; mother, Clara (Maxine) Maytum; and younger brother Jon Lee.
A celebration of life will be held at noon, July 2 at the Kalispell Seventh-day Adventist Church. An honor service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Memorial Gardens. Flower arrangements may be sent to 1185 Old Reserve Drive, Kalispell MT.
