Edgar Carl Farnham, 80

Edgar Carl Farnham, 80, died June 6, 2021, at the Libby Care Center. He was born June 26, 1940, in Sacramento, Calif., to Edgar and Agnes Farnham. He graduated from high school in San Juan, Calif.

Edgar married Rita A. Tillett at Carson City, Nev., and they were married for 62 years, four months and eight days. He worked for AT&T in California and then in New York for seven years.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree; the Elk’s Club and Native Son of California. He was an avid golfer, hunter and fisherman.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Beard.

Survivors include his wife, Rita Farnham of Troy; sons, Carl A. Farnham of Washoe Valley, Nev., and Howard V. Farnham of Troy; a sister, Jan Olk; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A parish vigil was held June 10 at Schnackenberg Funeral Home in Libby. Services will be at 10:30 a.m., June 11 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Libby.
