Denise M. Williams, 65
Denise M. Williams, 65, passed away July 1, 2021, to be with her loved ones in heaven.
Denise was born in Concord, Calif., on April 19, 1956, to Edwin and Jean Martin. Denise’s mother, Jean, was a McCoy, from the famous Hatfields and McCoys.
Denise enjoyed being with her family, in the outdoors and amongst the wildlife, picking huckleberries and camping. She was a wonderful artist.
Many people knew her from the Riverside, as she worked there as a bartender for several years. After her time at the Riverside, she worked at the Libby Care Center as a CNA for some time. In her spare time, she and her husband James volunteered as EMTs on the Libby Volunteer Ambulance Service for five years, from the late ’80s into the ’90s. After leaving the care center, she became a professional cook at the Hidden Chapel with some training from Emeril Lagasse.
After her time in Libby, she moved to Washington and became a housewife. After a short period, she returned to be with the rest of the family in Montana.
Denise is survived by her husband, James Williams; her daughters, Amber Hamm and Dallas Bowe; her son, Justin Wamsley; her stepchildren, Nicole and Billy Willams; her grandchildren, Colter Bowe, Tyler Bevis and Savanah McMillan; and her great-grandchild, Ivy Hartsock.
She was loved dearly and will be terribly missed by her family.
No service will be held, as she had wanted.
