Sally J. Anderson, 86, passed away July 13, 2021, at her home in Libby. She was born June 3, 1935, to Rudolph and Beulah Weinkauf in Carbondale, Colo.
Sally was a loving wife, wonderful mother and loyal friend. She was queen of the Libby Dam RV Park and loved her extended family that came every year.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph and Beulah Weinkauf; her husband, Albert (Andy) Anderson; sons, Phillip Welch and Terry Anderson; and sister, Alice Buffan.
She is survived by son, Pat; daughters, Victoria, Penny, and Jerri and son-in-law, Steve Hasz; sister, Yvonne (Bonnie) Burnett; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.
Sally loved floating the river with her guests and hosting happy hour at the RV Park. She enjoyed music and played the organ and accordion. She went out of her way to take people to medical appointments and care for them. Sally volunteered at the senior center doing income taxes. Her favorite pastime was working her crossword puzzles.
Now you are dancing with the angels. Rest in peace.
A celebration of life for this wonderful woman will be held at 2 p.m., Sept. 18 at Libby Dam RV Park.
