Public Notice of Proposed OpenCut Mining Permit Lambert Pit #3266 Noble Excavating, Inc. PO Box 1592 Libby, Montana 59923 (406) 293-8824 Notice: Noble Excavating has submitted an application for a proposed Opencut Sand and Gravel Pit Lambert Pit #3266, located in Yaak, Montana, approximately 28 miles up MT Hwy 508 located on the west side of the Yaak Highway. Proposed Pit Coordinates: 48.827021°, -115.732443° The proposed pit lays in Sections 3 & 4, Township 35N and Range 32W, consist of 18.509 acres of permit boundary with a proposed maximum mining depth of 40' which will be completed in 20' lifts. The proposed plan of operations requires 14' of topsoil to be stripped and salvaged along the permit boundary and replaced to the depth of 14' for reclamation. The proposed pit has a planned reclamation date of 2050 and will have a maximum of 350,000 cubic yards of aggregate produced from this site. No Permanent facilities will be onsite and mining facilities will be onsite running Monday - Friday running 7am - 6pm during commenced operations.
