George W. Baskins, 79

George W. Baskins, 79, passed away Feb. 17, 2021, of natural causes at his home in Libby. He was born Dec. 6, 1941, in Pine Bluffs, Wyo., to Jake and Dorothy Baskins.

He grew up there and worked on a ranch in Pine Bluffs. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy upon graduating high school.

George married Connie Deon on Dec. 26, 1965. They became the proud parents of four children — Jody, Shawn, Michelle and Andrew — and proud grandparents to 10 grandchildren. He worked at the sawmill in Libby and also for one in Washington. He and Connie recently moved back to Libby to be closer to family. He attended the local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses.
