INVITATION TO BID KBP SEWER EXTENSION & CITY OF LIBBY CONNECTION Separate sealed bids for construction of the KBP Sewer Extension & City of Libby Connection project will be received by the Lincoln County Port Authority at 60 Port Boulevard, Libby, MT 59923 until 3:00 local time on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, and then publicly opened and read aloud. Late bids will not be accepted. The project has an expected construction completion date of May 31, 2021. The project consists of the following: (1) Installation of approximately 1,100-feet of new 8" diameter sanitary sewer main, (2) Installation of eight sanitary manholes and one combined storm/sanitary manhole, (3) Removal of trees, vegetation, fencing, pavement and miscellaneous items required for the construction of the sanitary sewer, (4) Installation & replacement of permanent and temporary traffic control devices, signage and striping and ongoing implementation of a traffic control plan to ensure the contractor's and the public's safety throughout the duration of the project, and (5) Surface restoration of disturbed areas, including asphalt concrete pavement, concrete valley gutters, and aggregate. Contract Documents may be examined at any of the Montana Plans Exchanges. Bidders must obtain the Bidding Documents from the Engineer to be considered responsive. Troy Public Schools is removing and replacing the old high school gym flooring. If anyone is interested in salvaging the old finished 3/4" tongue and groove layer of wood, they can have it if they remove all of it. Also, they will need to clean up the debris associated with its removal. This will be first come first serve when Troy Public Schools is prepared for its removal. Any interested party needs to be licensed and bonded. There will be a set time limit for removal that can be discussed with the party able to perform the removal. This offer will end on March 19, 2021.
