Stephanie Lodman, 50

| February 5, 2021 7:00 AM

On May 15, at 8:15 a.m., Stephanie (Skinner) Lodman departed for the Undiscovered Country, whence no traveler returns. She left with dignity and courage that most of us can only hope for, surrounded by her dogs and kitties and family.

She was 50 years old, and succumbed to multiple autoimmune disorders of the liver, kidneys and connective tissues. Born in Billings, she spent much of her early life in the Billings and Miles City areas.

A member of the Gros Ventre tribe and a daughter of the Crow people, she was passionate about Native American issues. She served many years in law enforcement agencies in Washington and Oregon. She tried very hard to be good to everyone, and she will be missed.

She is survived by her husband, Steven Lodman, and their son, Carter.

No services are planned.
