An individual reported an abandoned bicycle.

Public safety
Libby police officers investigated a report of an individual snowmobiling on the road near Reese Trailer Court. Officers located the snowmobile, but not the rider.
1:24 p.m.
Civil complaint
A renter told Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies that her landlord was refusing her access to a shared shed, which contained the last of her belongings. Dispatchers initially told her it was a civil matter, but arranged for her to speak with a deputy after she said her attorney instructed her to cut the locks.

Harassment, threat, intimidation
A man reported being threatened by another individual at a local gym.

Fish and game
An injured bald eagle was found near Kootenai Views Drive.

Theft
Libby police officers cited two individuals for theft.

Public safety
An Evans Loop resident told authorities that their neighbor routinely drinks and drives. That day, the neighbor stumbled out of their vehicle upon allegedly returning from the bar.

Disturbance
Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a disturbance on U.S. Highway 2.
9:33 p.m.
Public safety
Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies headed to Estate Drive after a disagreement between neighbors over fireworks threatened to escalate. A confrontation over pyrotechnics had grown into a shouting match and one of the individuals involved reached for a firearm. Deputies made contact with the parties and cleared the scene.

Fire
Libby Volunteer Fire Department crews headed up Pipe Creek Road for a report of 20-foot flames from a fully engulfed vehicle fire. Fireworks stored in the vehicle went off as crews extinguished the blaze.

Criminal mischief
A Vista Avenue resident told Libby police officers that one or more individuals had broken the windows in her vehicle within the past couple of hours.
2:04 a.m.
Suspicious activity
Libby police officers headed to U.S. Highway 2 for a report of a man and woman yelling in the area. They were unable to locate the individuals.
2:06 a.m.
Suspicious person
Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies headed to Dome Mountain Road for a report of a man pacing the roadway.
10:35 a.m.
Drugs, drug paraphernalia
A woman dropped off syringes she found on her East Lincoln Boulevard property with local law enforcement.

Fish and game
An individual told authorities that a friend had struck an eagle with their vehicle on Barron Peak Road. They thought the raptor was dead, but it was just injured. It was now in the back of their pickup.

A Pioneer Road resident told authorities that an individual had shot a deer outside of hunting season. The dead deer was on her property.

Suspicious activity
A caller reported evidence of tampering with their apartment windows near Commerce Way. They also found footprints leading away from the scene. Libby police officers followed up to investigate.

Suspicious activity
Libby police officers investigated a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in the lot of a closed business. The vehicle was gone when officers arrived.
8:18 p.m.
Harassment, threat, intimidation
A White Avenue resident reported receiving threats from another woman. The woman said she planned to come into the town the following day to beat her up.

Disturbance
Libby police officers arrested an individual on partner or family member assault charges after responding to a fight at Reese Court. The fight began over drugs.

1:33 a.m.
Libby police offices responded to a disturbance on Minnesota Avenue.
1:42 a.m.
Assault
Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Tom Rice Jr. on a charge of partner or family member strangulation after responding to a disturbance on 2nd Avenue.
9:28 a.m.
Suspicious activity
An Evans Road resident told authorities that they saw their neighbor destroy his own mailbox and then take photographs. The resident was concerned the neighbor might be trying to frame them.
10:42 a.m.
Traffic accident
Authorities received a report of a moving truck that struck a street sign. Responding Libby police officers soon learned that the truck was reported stolen after its shipment of appliances was offloaded.

Firearms
A caller reported a man firing a high-powered rifle toward their property on Yaak River Road.
6:13 p.m.
Suspicious person
A 911 caller reported a suspicious person near Utah Avenue. Responding Libby police officers found only sets of footprints and paw prints.
10:01 p.m.
Suspicious person
Libby police officers arrested an individual on a parole violation after responding to an incident at a local veterans organization. The man had grown angry upon learning the bar was closing.

Harassment, threat, intimidation
A caller asked to speak with law enforcement after receiving a threatening message from a woman. The woman also made false accusations.

A Whiskey Hill resident told authorities that several area mailboxes had been vandalized.

First responders headed to mile marker 47 of U.S. Highway 2 for a report of a vehicle rollover.

A caller reported finding drug paraphernalia at a local gas station.

Disturbance
Libby police officers headed to a Utah Avenue home after receiving a 911 call regarding a possible intruder. The caller said that they had received information that their ex-spouse was in their home.

Traffic stop
Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested one individual for driving under the influence following a traffic stop near mile marker 23 of U.S. highway 2.

Suspicious activity
A City Service Road resident spotted fresh boot tracks in the show while moving items out of her home.
8:38 p.m.
Suspicious vehicle
Libby police officers headed to a local gas station after receiving a report of a vehicle left running in the area for nearly an hour. The caller said a door had been left open and had not seen anyone near the vehicle. Officers spoke with the driver, who was using a phone and so kept the door open because of “radiation.”
10:03 p.m.
Theft
Libby police officers arrested Terry James, 49, on theft, criminal trespass, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of dangerous drugs charges. He was taken into custody after officers responded to a report of a man hanging around the loading dock of a local business.
