Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies made contact with a pair of juveniles near U.S. Highway 2.

City ordinance violation

Libby police officers handled a city ordinance violation near the intersection of 3rd Street and Dakota Avenue.

Public assistance

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies got word of a man flagging down passing vehicles on U.S. Highway 2.

Firearms

Responding to a report of gunshots, Libby police officers determined the noise stemmed from a memorial service at the City of Libby Cemetery.

6:27 p.m.

Criminal mischief

A caller told Libby police officers that he returned to his vehicle, left on Minnesota Avenue, only to find a window broken.

Assault

A caller reported an assault that occurred the night prior. He reported injuries to his face.

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies received a report of a disturbance on Pioneer Road.

Public safety

A caller reported seeing a woman walk into traffic along U.S. Highway 2. The woman told the caller that she was looking for a ride home. Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies met up with the woman at about 2:08 a.m.

Criminal trespass

Libby police officers responded to a local fast casual restaurant for a report of a trespasser. The individuals involved agreed to move along. Officers issued a citation.

9:13 a.m.

Public assistance

An Airstrip Road resident reported hearing the sounds of a possible dogfight near her residence.

9:47 a.m.

Civil complaint

A Dakota Avenue resident told Libby police officers that she suspected her roommate took her personal items before moving out of the home.

City ordinance violation

Libby police officers handled a city ordinance violation near the intersection of Spruce Street and U.S. Highway 2.

Disturbance

A man was taken to a local medical facility after Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of two individuals yelling near Pioneer Road.

Scam

A Granite Avenue resident asked to speak with a detective regarding a scam.

A U.S. Highway 2 resident told authorities that their brother’s ex-wife came onto the property and began making threats.

Criminal mischief

A Louisiana Avenue resident told authorities that an individual had shot out the window of a vehicle.

Alarm

Authorities responded to Collins Avenue for a residential burglar alarm. The homeowner later contacted law enforcement to tell them it went off accidentally.

Authorities received a report of a barking dog on Forest Drive.

Suspicious vehicle

A U.S. Highway 2 resident alerted authorities to a truck doing brodies near her home. Authorities caught up with the suspects, who denied involvement.

7:19 a.m.

Suspicious activity

A Leonia Cutoff Road resident reported out-of-place items in his cabin. He did not notice any damaged or missing property, but still considered it suspicious.

Missing persons

A caller reported a missing woman, telling authorities the two had not spoken in eight years.

8:56 a.m.

Burglary

Libby police officers investigated a burglary at a Utah Avenue store. A cash register was stolen in the heist.

4:01 p.m.

Warrant

Libby police officers arrested Rochelle Styles on a felony assault on a minor charge. She was held on a $25,000 bond. Officers caught her exiting the rear of a local casino.

8:56 p.m.

Public safety

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies warned a motorist against performing brodies in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant.

Traffic accident

A U.S. Highway 2 resident reported a hit-and-run involving three mailboxes and several garbage cans.
