Robert Johns

Robert (Bob) Johns passed away May 3, 2021, at Castle Rock, Wash. Bob was born to Ed and Alda Johns on March 1, 1941, in Denver.

In his 80 years he saw a lot of country, both in the U.S. and overseas. Bob came to Libby in 1962 and became employed at J. Neils Lumber Co. Then he went to work for the Libby Dam, working construction. He continued in construction until he retired.

Bob is survived by his wife, Carol, of Castle Rock; daughter, Lorri Kay and sons, Randy, Doug, Richie and Greg; sister, Helen Tarbert; Stepsons, John and Billy; 23 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Dolly; and stepson, Mike.

A memorial service will be held Aug. 7 at 2 p.m. at Fireman Park.
