Suspicious vehicle

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies investigated a suspicious vehicle at a local gas station.

12:23 a.m.

Suspicious person

Libby police officers responded to a local bar for a report of a man screaming.

1:39 a.m.

Public assistance

Authorities headed to Reese Court after a resident told them a woman was refusing to leave the house. Drugs and alcohol were not involved, the resident said. The woman was leaving as law enforcement personnel arrived.

2:44 a.m.

Suspicious vehicle

Libby police officers found a man sleeping when they responded to a suspicious vehicle report at a local big box retailer.

5:09 a.m.

Criminal mischief

A Northwoods Road resident told authorities her family, dogs included, were infected with a parasite after drinking apple cider.

11:26 a.m.

Harassment, threat, intimidation

A woman out at a local bar told authorities that a man was stalking her and her husband.

4:19 p.m.

Civil complaint

A 911 caller told authorities that a man living on their property took several items before departing.

4:40 p.m.

Criminal mischief

A 911 caller told authorities that a side-by-side and four-wheeler were doing burnouts and doughnuts on their property. Responding Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies were unable to locate the vehicles.

4:45 p.m.

Animal complaint

A Three Corner Road resident reported a “vicious dog” running around the trailer park. Responding Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies were unable to catch the dog.

8:43 p.m.

Public assistance

A West 3rd Street resident asked to make a noise complaint against a neighbor. Responding Libby police officers cited one individual for disorderly conduct.

11:57 a.m.

Harassment, threat, intimidation

A caller told authorities that the father of her child was harassing her and had made threats against other individuals.

2:22 p.m.

Animal complaint

A Norman Avenue woman told authorities that a neighbor’s dog bit her young son. She declined medical treatment but asked that law enforcement personnel make contact with them.

5:42 p.m.

Theft

An individual reported a theft at a local restaurant.

6:06 p.m.

Disturbance

A Star Road resident told authorities that he caught a man trespassing on his property. He fired a warning shot, but the man only began threatening the resident and refusing to leave the area.

8:09 p.m.

Drugs, drug paraphernalia

Libby police officers cited an individual for drug paraphernalia near the intersection of Nevada Avenue and 6th Street.

March 1

2:19 a.m.

Disturbance

A Three Corner Road resident told authorities that a neighbor was chopping wood. Responding Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies reported that all was quiet in the area.

11:50 a.m.

Harassment, threat, intimidation

A Kilbrennan Lake Road resident told authorities that an animal rights activist was harassing him regarding an incident that occurred the previous year. The activist came onto his property to take photos.

Scam

A Bull Lake Road resident told authorities that they had fallen for a scam and given out the last four digits of their Social Security number.

12:50 p.m.

Fire

Fire crews headed to Woodway Avenue for a report of a structure fire.

12:57 p.m.

Criminal mischief

A Kootenai River Road resident told authorities that a vandal had struck several mailboxes in the neighborhood.

1:26 p.m.

Harassment, threat, intimidation

A 911 caller told authorities they were receiving death threats.

1:45 p.m.

Criminal trespass

A Warland Heights Road resident reported a neighbor for cutting firewood on the resident’s property.

4:21 p.m.

Fraud

A Drop Tine Road resident suspects a thief hacked his Amazon account. Items were delivered to separate locations.

Theft

An alleged thief made off with a Three Corner Road resident’s propane tans.

6:02 p.m.

Suspicious activity

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a woman trespassing on No Creek Road.

7:03 p.m.

Disturbance

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to Bull Lake Road for a report of an argument between a woman and an intoxicated man. The man would not relinquish the woman’s keys. Deputies separated the individuals for the night.

8 p.m.

Disturbance

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested one individual after responding to a report of an assault on Garrison Loop Road. According to Troy dispatchers, a juvenile attacked his father and left in a vehicle.
