Traffic stop
Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Alisha Alyea and Sarah Steiger on probation violation charges after a traffic stop near the intersection of U.S. Highway 2 and California Avenue.
2:12 a.m.
Traffic accident
Libby police officers arrested Sam Fisher on a driving under the influence charge after responding to a traffic accident on U.S. Highway 2.

Traffic accident
Libby police officers responded to a traffic accident near the intersection of U.S. Highway 2 and Louisiana Avenue.
9:23 a.m.
Theft
Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies attempted to follow up on an investigation into the theft of a firearm in September.
10:31 a.m.
A Conifer Road resident asked to talk with local law enforcement regarding a September burglary.
11:59 a.m.
Animal complaint
A Farm to Market Road resident reported a fight between two dogs. The struggle left both animals bleeding badly.
4:13 p.m.
Property
Employees at a local automobile dealership told Libby police officers they found a pink woman’s bicycle stuffed into the back of one of the company’s pickup trucks.

Harassment, threat, intimidation
A woman asked to file a complaint regarding a man who aimed and fired a gun at her. The incident occurred in April.
6:17 p.m.
Suspicious activity
Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies investigated a Spencer Road home after a caretaker reported finding lights on and doors open during daily visits.
6:25 p.m.
Animal complaint
A U.S. Highway 2 resident caught a dog after it attacked their chickens and cats.
7:20 p.m.
Harassment, threat, intimidation
A woman told local law enforcement that a man had followed her and blocked her vehicle.
7:43 p.m.
Theft
A Basham Lane resident reported the theft of wheels and tires off of a vehicle.
8:08 p.m.
Minor in possession of intoxicants
Libby police officers descended upon a local drinking establishment after receiving word that an underage woman on probation was drinking alcohol in the bar.
Sept. 26
12:19 a.m.
Animal complaint
A caller registered concerns about several horses in the area. The caller said they were being fed and watered, but given limited space and no shelter.
1:59 p.m.
Harassment, threat, intimidation
A caller dialed 911 to report getting harassed while loading her horses near Treasure Mountain Lane.
8:45 p.m.
Animal complaint
A caller reported seeing a dog chasing deer near the intersection of Lincoln Boulevard and Louisiana Avenue.
9:19 p.m.
Suspicious person
An individual waiting at the Amtrak station called 911 to report a strange man staring at her and making her uncomfortable. Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies spoke with the man.
10:31 p.m.
Suspicious vehicle
Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies investigated a suspicious vehicle near Kootenai River Road.
Sept. 27
9:19 a.m.
Animal complaint
Authorities received word of a canine, possibly suffering from mange, growling t people near Park Street.
10:32 a.m.
Theft
A West Spruce Street resident reported the theft of her daughter’s bicycle from their yard.
12:05 p.m.
Criminal mischief
A hunter told authorities that two of the tires on his vehicle had been slashed while he was out near McGinnis Meadows.
4:08 p.m.
Theft
A Buckskin Trail resident asked to speak with law enforcement regarding a building that was removed from his property.
5:23 p.m.
Traffic violation
A motorist told authorities that a pipe fell off a semi-trailer truck and struck the undercarriage of his vehicle. When he tried to speak with the other driver, that individual left the area.
7:14 p.m.
Fish and game
Authorities received a report of a deer wandering near Vicks Lane with an arrow in its rear end. The animal was mobile, but limping.
8:45 p.m.
Criminal mischief
Authorities received word of a motorist that possibly damaged phone lines after running into a ditch near mile marker 2.
11:08 p.m.
Harassment, threat, intimidation
A U.S. Highway 2 resident asked to speak with a Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputy regarding threats made by his ex-wife.
11:29 p.m.
Fish and game
Libby police officers responded to a local golf course after receiving word of a black bear wandering nearby and possibly attempting to get into garbage.
Sept. 28
Traffic accident
Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a home on U.S. Highway 2 after the resident found a vehicle abandoned on his front law. The vehicle had struck a utility pole and it appeared there might have been injuries as investigators found the airbags deployed and blood on the scene. A check of the local medical center did not turn up any patients with injuries. Authorities later learned the vehicle was stolen.
2:07 a.m.
Suspicious vehicle
Authorities responded to Riverfront Park for two vehicles parked there after hours. The individuals agreed to move along.
