Williams is a progressive in disguise

To the editor:

Having spent the last decade in California before recently moving to Montana, I bring forth a warning about the future if Kathleen Williams is elected to the U.S. House of Representatives.

Currently, she is posturing as a moderate in order to convince traditional Democrats and Independents, frightened by the radicalization of the progressive wing of their party, that she is different and will represent their interests in Washington, D.C. There is nothing further from the truth. The fact of the matter is that the Democrats that once stood firm for unions and farmers’ rights only exist in memory.

Williams is emblematic of the Democrats that have run California into the ground. She was even educated at the University of California, Berkeley, which is the epicenter of thought that has led to the un-American attitude shared by the current crop of Democrats.

Don’t be fooled by her recent shift to the center; her record in the Montana House of Representative speaks volumes. The environment-over-people agenda that she champions will significantly hurt homeowners, farmers and ranchers. For these reasons and more, I wholly support Matt Rosendale for Montana’s at-large district in the U.S. House of Representatives.
