PUBLIC MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT: PROPOSED ASBESTOS ABATEMENT AND APPLICATION FOR EPA BROWNFIELDS CLEANUP GRANT ASA WOOD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL LIBBY, MONTANA A public meeting will be held at 4:30 PM, October 8th in the KW Maki Theatre, 724 Louisiana Avenue, regarding redevelopment plans for the Asa Wood Elementary School currently owned by Libby Public Schools. Topics to be covered are listed below: *The need for asbestos abatement and lead-based paint encapsulation prior to renovation; *How Libby Public Schools wishes to redevelop the building; *The Analysis of Brownfields Cleanup Alternatives (ABCA), which includes discussion of cleanup costs; and *The EPA Brownfields Cleanup Grant proposal, which seeks funding for the cleanup. Interested parties are encouraged to review the draft ABCA. A copy of the document will be available for public review and comment at the public meeting and is also available through the Libby Public Schools website (http://www.libbyschools.org). NOTICE The Montana Department of Revenue, Alcoholic Beverage Control Division, announces the availability of one (1) new original Montana Retail On-Premises Consumption Beer License for the Troy quota area. The available Montana Retail On-Premises Consumption Beer License for the Troy quota area may be located within the corporate limits of Troy or within 5 miles of Troy's corporate limits. A map of the Troy quota area can be located at mtrevenue.gov. This license is not eligible to offer gambling under Title 23, chapter 5, part 3, 5, or 6. To enter the competitive bidding process, the individual or business entity must: follow all of the requirements of the terms and conditions of the competitive bid process; complete and submit electronically a competitive bid form that includes your bid amount; an irrevocable letter of credit, for at least the bid amount, from a financial institution naming the department as the beneficiary; and pay a $100 non-refundable processing fee and any associated payment processing fees. The competitive bid form and terms and conditions can be found at mtrevenue.mt.gov. The minimum bid for this license is set at $11,250. The competitive bidding process closes on October 30, 2020 at midnight Mountain Standard Time. The highest successful bidder will be notified by the department.
