Public assistance

A resident reported having a video of a friend taking pills. The type and amount is unknown.

8:58 a.m.

Suspicious activity

A man told law enforcement that while helping public employees at the Lincoln County Annex building he spotted dried blood on several totes. He also said the county worker was acting strangely. Authorities noted that the individual had previously submitted several false reports.

9:38 a.m.

Civil complaint

A U.S. Highway 2 resident complained that a neighbor created a berm while plowing. The caller asked to speak with a deputy to resolve the issue.

10:04 a.m.

Harassment, threat, intimidation

A woman called to report that her boyfriend’s ex-partner is harassing her. Authorities received a phone call from the ex-partner shortly thereafter reporting the original caller for harassment.

Theft

A California Avenue resident reported the theft of roughly $200,000 in equipment from a storage unit.

Animal complaint

A Kootenai Vista resident reported mistreated animals.

Disturbance

The clerk of the Lincoln County Court reported a disruptive man yelling and refusing to leave.

Harassment, threat, intimidation

A Dolphin Way resident requested a verbal trespass against his daughter.

Scam

A Deer Field Road resident reported a telephone scam.

Public safety

Authorities responded to a report of a man in a vest and cowboy hat walking back-and-forth across State Highway 56 near mile marker 31.

A Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputy escorted an individual home from U.S. Highway 2 after receiving a report of an individual lying in a snow bank.

Theft

An individual reported the theft of a gun from their home.

Disturbance

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a 16-year-old throwing a fit on Bull Lake Road. The teenager reportedly threw furniture, kicked a wall, and had shoved and pushed his mother.

Runaway

Authorities launched a search for a runaway 11-year-old child in the Glen Shores Drive area. They later found the boy.

Suspicious vehicle

Authorities responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle near Pioneer Park.

A guest at a local motel reported leaving his room and returning to find his wallet missing.

A Pioneer Road resident reported seeing a car stereo that was stolen from him two years ago now posted on a social media website.

A caller reported that the mother of children she has custody of arrived ahead of schedule to pick them up.

Traffic accident

A caller reported getting into a fender-bender with another motorist on Louisiana Avenue. The other motorist left the scene, she told authorities.

Harassment, threat, intimidation

An individual at a local motel reported three unsupervised children making threats to the cleaning crew and wandering the street without proper clothing. Libby police officers investigated.

1:52 p.m.

Shots fired

Libby police investigated a report of gunshots near Nevada Avenue.

2:16 p.m.

Animal complaint

A Rustic Avenue resident reported that her neighbor has tried to lure her dog into their home and keep it.
