Authorities investigated a report of a downed tree on Granite Creek Road, but determined no road crews were needed to address the situation.

A 911 caller reported a downed power line sending off sparks. Authorities contacted the local electrical utility, which took the lead on the problem.

Unattended death

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of an unattended death on W Lane.

City ordinance violation

Libby police officers responded to a report of a pullout across U.S. Highway 2 from a local supermarket.

Harassment, threat, intimidation

A U.S. Highway 2 resident asked to speak with an officer in regard to being harassed.

Agency assist

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to an agency assistance request on West 2nd Street in Libby.

Public assistance

A Butcher Creek Road resident alleged that a plow truck driver deliberately angled the plow to block in his driveway.

Suspicious person

Libby police officers responding to a report of a suspicious person near the intersection of State Highway 37 and Park Street determined the individual was just out for exercise.

Harassment, threat, intimidation

A Three Corners Road resident reported an individual threatening neighbors with “gangster talk” after getting thrown out of a nearby home.

Public safety

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies spoke with an electric company employee regarding concerns he had about a telephone company failing to comply with state requirements.

Theft

Libby police officers responded to a local supermarket for a reported theft.

A Rustic Avenue resident reported receiving harassing messages from two individuals.
