12:48 a.m.

Fish and game

A caller told authorities a deer was caught in their neighbor’s fence along Farm to Market Road.

1:54 a.m.

City ordinance violation

Libby police cited a motorist who violated the snow removal parking ban ordinance near the intersection of 2nd Street and Idaho Avenue.

10:57 a.m.

Probation violation

Authorities arrested Rebecca DeShazer for an alleged probation violation after receiving a report of possible squatters at Vicks Lane. A caller had requested law enforcement join him in a search of his property out of concern of trespassers.

2:34 p.m.

Criminal mischief

Libby police investigated a report of a teenage boy hitting golf balls at Asa Wood Elementary School.

4:07 p.m.

Traffic accident

Authorities responded to a two-vehicle accident near mile marker 20 of Pipe Creek Road. No injuries were reported.

8:48 p.m.

Disturbance

Authorities responded to 1st Avenue West after a woman reported an unknown suspect had entered her home. Sounding “hysterical,” the woman said she was trapped in the basement. Arriving Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies found no one else in the home.

9:36 p.m.

Harassment, threat, intimidation

A Hartman Lane resident reported that another woman was harassing her via phone and media.

12:26 a.m.

Suspicious person

Authorities investigated a report of a gunshot near Minnesota Avenue. A caller reported hearing what sounded like a gun going and then seeing an individual in dark clothing running near the woods by the Lincoln County Port Authority.
