12:48 a.m.

Animal complaint

Libby police responded to a report of a horse on the loose near the intersection of Parmenter Road and Education Way. The animal was corralled and the owner agreed to fix their fence.

4:07 a.m.

Assault

A Reese Court caller reported getting assaulted by her daughter. The daughter also allegedly attacked the caller’s significant other.

7:56 a.m.

Animal complaint

Employees at the Libby Dam found a male dog named “Duke” wandering around the area. The dog reportedly was in poor condition. Authorities contacted the owner and arranged to have the animal picked up.

Assault

An individual reported that a woman assaulted his 18-year-old daughter.

12:51 p.m.

Harassment, threat, intimidation

A Three Corner Road resident reported that one or more individuals drive into the area late at night and rev their engines. The resident believed the suspects were former tenants that were evicted.

Fish and game

A Three Corner Road resident reported finding a possible harvested deer carcass in the Dumpster of the trailer court.

4:02 p.m.

Disturbance

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a verbal dispute on Mudlake Road. Investigators learned an individual’s son ran off of the roadway and the two engaged in a screaming match.

4:12 p.m.

Traffic accident

The husband of a woman who went shopping at a local supermarket reported that her vehicle was struck while she was at the grocery store. The other vehicle left the scene, he said.

Property

An Avenue B resident reported finding business checks on his property.

Fish and game

Authorities responded to a traffic accident involving a moose calf on State Highway 56 near the Sanders County line.

2:30 p.m.

Public assistance

A Woodland Road resident reported a neighbor for plowing snow and debris onto their property.

4:02 p.m.

Public assistance

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies transported a patient to the emergency room at the request of a Kalispell doctor’s office. The staff in Kalispell contacted authorities in Lincoln County because the patient was in a car accident, but could not afford an ambulance ride.

4:56 p.m.

Drugs, drug paraphernalia

The staff of a local hospital requested aid from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office after treating a patient who bought bad methamphetamines.

5:45 p.m.

Disturbance

First responders provided treatment for a man who had swallowed a battery at Three Corners Road.

Harassment, threat, intimidation

A Rustic Avenue resident reported receiving threatening phone calls.

Harassment, threat, intimidation

A U.S. Highway 2 resident reported that his juvenile daughter was receiving threatening messages.

Authorities responded to a report of a cow in the middle of the roadway on U.S. Highway 93 near a local equipment store.

Criminal mischief

A Park Street resident reported that her mailbox was run over overnight and the motorist also drove through her neighbor’s yard and struck their mailbox.

Civil complaint

Authorities responded to a report of individuals trying to take property from the former Stinger building. The caller was a representative of the property owner.

1:28 p.m.

Traffic violation

The employee of a local hospital reported a hit-and-run in the facility’s parking lot. She took photographs of the vehicle that struck her parked pickup truck and wanted to file a complaint.

1:36 p.m.

Criminal mischief

A Kearney Avenue resident reported an individual having ‘wiped out” his and his neighbors’ mailboxes.

Fish and game

A Reese Court resident needed help after trapping a skunk in their garbage can.

Traffic stop

Authorities arrested Christopher Lee Kropp for driving with a suspended license.

9:21 a.m.

Animal complaint

A Park Street resident asked to speak with animal control regarding a neighbor’s chickens to include the rooster, which crows.

10:08 a.m.

Theft

A Conifer Road resident reported that a guest stole his pistol.

11:19 a.m.

Scam

A Bobtail Cutoff Road resident reported receiving repeated calls from a Troy number. The callers identify themselves as being a representative of Medicare and threaten to stop monthly payments if the victim does not provide them with requested information.

11:46 a.m.

Suspicious activity

A Reese Court resident told authorities that her children returned home from school to find the front door open and their dog outside. She did not notice anything missing.

1:12 p.m.

Civil complaint

A caller reported individuals going into the former Stinger building and stealing property located inside. Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies spoke with the intruders. They agreed not to remove any other property.

2:33 p.m.

Harassment, threat, intimidation

The staff of a local library reported a man who was standing outside threatening a patron.

Property

A shopper reported losing cash two weeks ago while browsing in a local grocery store.

Fish and game

Authorities responded to a report of a deer suffering from chest sores and a bulge on its neck near the intersection of Dakota Avenue and Poplar Street.
