Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies headed to a local store after price tags were switched around objects. The store offered a videotape for deputies to review.

A caller told Libby police officers that an unknown individual had swiped her credit cards and driver’s license from her purse.

A caller reported seeing three dogs running around and chasing deer near Park Street.

A caller asked for law enforcement personnel to arrest their adult son or remove him from the property. The adult son was described as violent and abusive.

Libby police officers headed to a local supermarket for a report of a man sleeping or unconscious in a truck in the parking lot.

Libby police officers arrested Stephen Douglas Miller on a partner or family member assault charge after responding to a disturbance on Main Avenue. Officers headed to the scene after a woman reported that her brother-in-law had made unwanted sexual advances.

A local coffee shop contacted Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies after new neighbors starting using the drive-thru as a shortcut to their property.

A Conifer Road resident reported a burglary. His coin collection and savings were stolen in the break-in.

Employees of a local business alerted Libby police officers to a panhandler on U.S. Highway 2. Responding officers were unable to locate the woman.

A woman requested information about handling a coworker, who was stalking and harassing her.

Suspicious vehicle

Libby police officers investigated a suspicious vehicle left at the corner of Mineral Avenue.

A resident near Cherry Creek Bluff reported hearing explosions south of town.

Criminal trespass

An individual passed along third-party knowledge of a trespassing incident on foreclosed property on Old Highway 2.

Theft

A Dakota Avenue resident reported the theft of change from a vehicle. The victim spotted footprints around the vehicle.

Criminal mischief

An individual reported the theft of a phone while at a party at an unknown location. The phone was later returned, but the back of the device was damaged in the meantime.

Civil complaint

A Snowshoe Road resident contacted law enforcement after being told his vehicle would be towed if it is not moved. He said that his estranged wife had brought the vehicle to the property from California. She had told him that she expected it to sell it soon.
