Animal complaint
A caller reported spotting two large dogs on the loose along U.S. Highway 2.

Theft
Libby police officers investigated the theft of a wallet from a local casino.
12:16 p.m.
Civil complaint
A resident requested a civil standby while he collects tools from his ex-partner’s home. The ex had stopped responding to his messages. Law enforcement personnel were able to contact the ex, who asked that they schedule the visit.

Public assistance
A caller asked law enforcement for advice on separating from her husband. Authorities offered to perform a civil standby for the situation and recommended resources for her to look into.

Animal complaint
A caller reported dogs chasing wildlife on his property, and not for the first time. Authorities captured one and took it to the shelter.

A caller reported an dog running around Riverfront Park.

Harassment, threat, intimidation
A Three Corners resident reported receiving harassing messages from an unknown woman regarding payment they allegedly owed to a neighbor. The woman was threatening to come to the resident’s home to discuss the matter.

Disturbance
Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a Saint Regis Road residence for a report of an individual under the influence of drugs. The individual’s parents demanded law enforcement personnel deal with him. Deputies separated all those involved.

Harassment, threat, intimidation
A Halo Court resident reported receiving threatening and harassing messages from their son.
5:11 p.m.
Fish and game
An individual reported seeing someone shooting deer within the city limits of Libby. They also said the shooting was in the direction of their home. Responding Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies determined the hunter was on private property with permission.
5:28 p.m.
Suspicious activity
A Ring Loop Road resident reported hearing an explosion. The resident clarified that it was louder than just firearms.
5:47 p.m.
Public assistance
Libby police officers responded to a local lodging house for a report of an unruly 13-year-old.
10:10 p.m.
Assault
Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Ronald Dwayne Pilson Jr., on charges of assault with a weapon, disorderly conduct and resisting after responding to a reported physical assault at a U.S. Highway 2 home. A 911 caller reported an alleged fight between their boyfriend and a neighbor.

Suspicious activity
Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies received a report of one or more individuals living inside of an abandoned home on Spencer Hill Avenue.
11:02 p.m.
Criminal trespass
A U.S. Highway 2 resident reported a trespasser on her property. The individual left as the woman contacted authorities.

10:13 a.m.
Disturbance
A Main Avenue resident reported getting into an argument with her son’s girlfriend. Responding Libby police officers took the girlfriend home.

Disturbance
A caller reported hearing gunshots near a business. Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies located a hunter, who had shot a deer and was trying to locate the animal.

Criminal trespass
A landlord reported that several former tenants were moving items that did not belong to them on an Old U.S. Highway 2 property.
2:42 p.m.
Missing persons
Local authorities launched a search after a caller reported two missing teenage boys who were thought to be hiking near the Kootenai Falls. Both teens were later located.
3:09 p.m.
Harassment, threat, intimidation
A housesitter reported getting locked out of the home she was watching. The homeowner had returned and was withholding personal property while sending intimidating texts.
4:20 p.m.
Suspicious activity
Authorities trespassed an individual after they were caught moving in and out of an abandoned home on Spencer Hill Avenue.

Harassment, threat, intimidation
Authorities received a report of an argument between a two men regarding hunting regulations on Old Callahan Creek Road.

Criminal mischief
A caller told authorities that an unknown individual had damaged his mailbox on Parmenter Avenue.

Theft
A caller reported that someone stole his chainsaws. He had left the chainsaws on the side of the road.

Disturbance
Libby police officers responded to 6th Street for a report of a man yelling.

Theft
Libby police officers investigated a theft case on Idaho Avenue.
5:03 p.m.
Harassment, threat, intimidation
A caller reported that a man threatened him with physical harm. The two men got into a confrontation after a deer was shot near Farm to Market Road.
5:54 p.m.
Traffic violation
A caller asked to speak with law enforcement regarding a motorist speeding near Lewis Loop. The driver had nearly struck several people and other vehicles.
6:32 p.m.
Criminal trespass
Libby police officers headed to a convenience store after an employee reported that a woman previously trespassed from the location had returned to the business. The woman was gone by the time officers arrived.
7:50 p.m.
Suspicious activity
A caller told authorities that he confronted his girlfriend regarding several counterfeit $100 bills. Responding Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies separated the individuals and confiscated the fake money.
