Civil complaint
A Manor Drive resident asked to speak with law enforcement personnel, telling authorities she was getting kicked out of a home she shares with her husband.
7:27 a.m.
Suspicious vehicle
Montana Highway Patrol troopers investigated a third-party report of a suspicious vehicle on mile marker 23 of state Highway 56. Allegedly, the vehicle contained two sleeping individuals and gave off a “strange smell.”
9:06 a.m.
Motor vehicle theft
Libby police officers arrested an unidentified individual after a Maine Avenue resident reported the unauthorized use of his vehicle. The man’s stepson later wrecked the vehicle.

Suspicious person
A caller reported a homeless man living under a staircase along Mineral Avenue.

Runaway
A West 1st Street resident told police that her 13-year-old refused to return home from a neighbor’s house.

Fish and game
A caller reported spotting hunters walking into a no hunting area.

Theft
A U.S. Highway 2 resident reported the theft of a tree from their property.

Theft
An individual reported the theft of a firearm after leaving it leaning against a vehicle. Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies decided to try and track it down using social media.

Property
Libby police officers attempted to track down the owner of a walker after it was found left at a local business.
2:33 p.m.
Harassment, threat, intimidation
A Big Timber Lane resident accused his neighbors of leaving him letters, notes and garbage following a disagreement.

Assault
A woman arrived at the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office headquarters in Libby and told deputies that she assaulted her husband.
4:08 p.m.
Animal complaint
An anonymous caller reported that a neighbor’s dogs were running onto his property near Boulder Lane and chasing deer.
7:36 p.m.
Suspicious vehicle
Authorities cited a motorist for driving under the influence after Montana Highway Patrol troopers investigated a report of an unresponsive individual sitting in the driver’s seat of a parked vehicle along Yaak River Road.

Civil complaint
A Big Timber Lane resident reported a stolen vehicle, telling authorities that her father let a neighbor borrow the car more than a year ago. The neighbor now refuses to return the vehicle.

Animal complaint
Authorities received word of dog “mauling” deer near Avenue A.

Unattended death
First responders headed to Bellevue Trailer Court for a report of an unattended death.

Unattended death
A caller reported the death of her husband overnight.
7:52 a.m.
Suspicious vehicle
Libby police officers warned a man for camping in a park after receiving a tip that a vehicle had been parked in Pioneer Park overnight.

City ordinance violation
Libby police officers investigated a city ordinance violation along East Cedar Street.
12:02 p.m.
Animal complaint
Authorities received a 911 call regarding a dog suffocating and bleeding, possibly overdosing from medication administered by an owner. The caller told Libby police officers that the owner was refusing to take the dog to a veterinarian.

Suspicious activity
A Granite Creek Road resident reported spotting an unidentified man coming onto their property with a chainsaw.
4:30 p.m.
Disturbance
Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to Granite Creek Road for a report of an intoxicated man being disruptive.

Hackers hit the email account of a Bull Lake Road resident.

Warrant
Authorities arrested Ernest Jorgensen on driving under the influence charges.
