Libby volleyball claims Battle of the Kootenai

The Libby Loggers girls volleyball team won the annual Battle of the Kootenai match against Eureka, 3-0, Tuesday.

For the Loggers (1-4), it was their first win of the season.

The Loggers beat their neighbors to the north, 25-20, 26-24, and 25-13.

McKenzie Proffitt led Libby with 31 kills while Jessica Cunningham contributed six blocks.

Kylee Quinn had 30 assists and five aces. Ashlyn Monigold had 72 digs and 91 receptions.

Eureka dropped to 2-3.
