Mark E. Jaqueth, 66

Mark Erford Jaqueth, 66, passed away peacefully of natural causes, at St. Patrick’s Hospital in Missoula, Saturday, Aug. 24, 2019.

Mark was born Nov. 6, 1952, in Libby to Bob and Wanda Jaqueth where he and the remainder of the five children were born and raised.

He attended Libby Public School in Libby and graduated in 1970.

Mark attended universities in Calgary, Alberta, Corvallis, Oregon, Missoula, Montana, and Seattle, Washington.

He earned his Registered Nursing degree in Intensive Care Nursing from The University Hospital in Seattle.

Mark met and married Kris Anderson in 1984. Together they had wonderful adventures; the two of them went on the Annapurna Trek – a breathtaking trek through Nepal.

They also were Peace Corp volunteers, doing service in Ecuador, South America in 1986.

After the Peace Corp they decided to settle in Missoula to start a family.

Mark spent his life nursing and giving to others.

He worked as a registered nurse, an intensive care nurse, and an emergency room nurse. He was a community volunteer, an active member of the University Congregational Church, a father, brother, provider, professional chef, neighbor, Christian, and a friend to many.

Survivors include daughter Emma Jaqueth, of Port Townsend, Washington, twin daughters Amy Stacy (Andrew) of Fort Collins, Colorado, and Raelin Jaqueth of Spokane, Washington. Three sisters, Jan Turpen, Tulsa, Okla., Lynn Jaqueth, Libby, Montana, and Amanda Lacek, Gillette, Wyoming.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Wanda Jaqueth; a sister, Brooke Jaqueth, and an infant sister born prior to him.

Arrangements were under the direction of Daly’Leach Chapel in Hamilton, Montana.

At Mark’s request, no services will be held.
