Scam

A caller reported receiving a phone call alerting her to a warrant for her husband. Authorities ran the subject’s name and confirmed it was a scam.

Animal complaint

A small black dog running around West Poplar Street was reunited with its owner.

Scam

A man reported receiving a phone call alerting him to warrants issued against him. Authorities confirmed it was a scam.

Scam

A man reported receiving a call announcing he had won $12 million from Publishers Clearing House. The caller asked for money to transfer the winnings.

10:48 a.m.

Suspicious activity

A Corner Road resident reported that a man who had previously lived in the area had gone to Arkansas and ended up in legal trouble. The caller reported that the man has a felony warrant. Authorities ran the name, but could not find a warrant.

Missing Person

Authorities located a woman who went missing near Fast Lane.

Scam

A caller reported receiving a phone call demanding $1,000 in cash or a warrant would be issued against them. Authorities confirmed it was a scam.

1:46 p.m.

Traffic accident

A state vehicle struck a deer on U.S. Highway 37 near mile marker six. No one was injured but the vehicle was left inoperable.

Animal complaint

A caller reported being bitten by a dog seven to eight weeks prior.

Authorities investigated a report of an individual going through the Dumpsters in Libby.

Harassment, threat, intimidation

A man told authorities another individual had pulled up behind him in a vehicle and began yelling at him. The alleged assailant also filmed the encounter, he told officials.

Disturbance

Authorities arrested a man after he allegedly tried to fight a bartender at a Libby watering hole.

9:16 a.m.

Harassment, threat, intimidation

A Kalispell woman told authorities that a man who lives in the Lincoln County area was threatening her daughter.

Animal complaint

A caller caught a skunk in her trap and needed someone to take care of it for her.

A Cecil Drive resident called to report that his neighbor’s dogs were again on his property.

Fish and game

A caller reported an individual leaving a deer on the side of the road near mile marker three of Williams Creek Road. The deer appeared healthy and the caller worried the individual might have attempted to poach the deer.

Another caller reported an individual that shot a deer and left the animal near Williams Creek Road. The suspect took off after noticing they were being watched.

Authorities received a report of wolves seen near the cemetery in Libby.

A woman inquired about getting a trespass against an individual after she received threats of him harming her boyfriend.

Partner or family assault

Authorities arrested Christopher McCormick, 52, after responding to a disturbance on 3rd Avenue E in Eureka. McCormick was charged with partner or family member assault.

Unattended death

Authorities investigated an unattended death on Hearns Road.

A caller reported his father is harassing him and telling other people about charges he is being convicted on in another state.

A Cecil Drive woman reported that her neighbor’s dogs attacked her cat.

A caller reported a suspicious-looking burlap bag on the side of U.S. Highway 37.
