The Northwest Community Health Center raised over $35,000 at their 10th Annual Spring Fundraiser, May 11 at the Memorial Events Center, according to organizers.

Kara Matthews, an administrative assistant at the CHC, said, “the compassionate dedication that our staff has for the community is really making a difference in our neck of the woods.”

In addition to a raffle, organizers held a live auction for various items such as furniture and quilts. Cedars Restaurant & Spirit Lounge catered a dinner of king crab and prime rib for attendees.

The CHC is grateful to live in a community which comes together and supports the Specialty Care Voucher Program, Matthews said.
