PUBLIC NOTICE LINCOLN COUNTY RURAL FIRE DISTRICT ANNEXATION PUBLIC HEARING Petitions were presented for annexation to the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners on May 1, 2019. Pursuant to 7-33-2125(b) MCA, the County Commission is required to set a public hearing on the petition not less than 4 weeks after the date of the presentation. The Lincoln County Board of County Commissioners did pass Resolution of Intent No. 2019-08 on May 1, 2019. Legal Description is as follows: Township 31N, Range 31W, Sections 4, 5, 8, 17 & 20 (Bobtail Road) Pursuant to 7-33-2125(2)M.C.A. states, "On the date set for the hearing, the Board of County Commissioners shall consider the petition and any objections to the annexation. The board shall approve the annexation unless a protest petition signed by at least 40% of the owners of real property in the area proposed for annexation and owners of property representing 40% or more of the taxable value of the property in the area proposed for annexation is presented at the hearing, in which case the annexation must be disapproved". NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD Notice is hereby given that Lincoln County will open a 45-day comment period on proposed projects under Title III of the Secure Rural Schools and Community Self-Determination Act. Eligible projects under Title III include FireWise Communities program activities, reimbursement of county costs for emergency services performed on federal lands, training and equipment purchases directly related to emergency services paid for by the county and performed on federal land, and development of Community Wildfire Protection Plans (CWPPs). Lincoln County has identified several projects that meet these eligibility requirements. They include continued development of FireWise Community programs and a revision of the Lincoln County Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP). These projects include landowner and public education, applying FireWise strategies to private property including implementing fuels reduction work. Other projects and funding uses are development of databases for information related to FireWise programs, and reimbursement of costs incurred by county emergency services performed on federal land. NOTICE OF TRUSTEE'S SALE TO BE SOLD FOR CASH AT TRUSTEE'S SALE on September 10, 2019, at 10:00 o'clock A.M.
