NOTICE OF SALE Department of Natural Resources & Conservation Timber Sale The Pipe Creek Timber Sale is located within Section 16, T31N-R31 Won the State's Libby Unit. Approximately 7,745 tons, consisting primarily of Douglas-fir sawlogs, are offered for sale. Sealed bids will be opened at the Department of Natural Resources & Conservation, 2705 Spurgin Road, Missoula, Montana on June 11, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Bids may be hand delivered or mailed and will be accepted any time prior to the bid opening. DNRC recommends that bidders contact the Trust Land Management Division (406-542-4300) prior to the bid opening to ensure that your bid has been received. Bids must be accompanied by a deposit of $8,380.00, representing 5% of the minimum bid value of the sale in cashiers check, certified check, bank money order or bank draft to be applied to the first sale invoice for the successful bidder. Bid bonds will be accepted and, for the successful bidder, will be closed upon execution of the Timber Sale Contract and Timber Sale Bond. The sale will be awarded to the highest responsible bidder. Award of the timber sale is conditional upon approval of the timber sale by the State Board of Land Commissioners at their May 20, 2019 meeting. The BLAZING SADDLES TIMBER SALE includes an estimated 1925 TONS of Lodgepole Pine & Other Sawlog timber (equivalent to 627 CCF) designated for removal located within Portions of Sections 4, T34N, R33W; PMM, Lincoln County, State of Montana. In addition, there is within the sale area an estmated volume of 809 tons (equivalent to 289 CCF) of combined Softwood non-saw timber that is advertised at a fixed rate. This is a WEIGHT MEASUREMENT sale and all rates will be bid and paid for at a rate per TON. NOTICE OF MOBIL HOME AND REAL PROPERTY TAXES DUE All 2019 mobile home taxes in Lincoln County have been mailed. Please check your bills over carefully. When making payments please remit your stubs; for inquiries please provide your tax payer number(s) from your statement(s). If you have not received your bill(s) please contact the Lincoln County Treasurer's office immediately at 406-283-2402. The first half of the 2019 mobile home taxes is due by 5:00 p.m. on or before May 31, 2019. Unless the first half is paid by this date, the amount payable is delinquent and draws interest at the rate of 5/6 of 1% a month from and after the delinquency until paid and 2% must be added to the delinquent taxes as a penalty (MCA 15-24-202). The second half of all Lincoln County real estate taxes is due by 5:00 p.m. on or before May 31, 2019.
