Susan Edna (Woods) Eaton -- aka Pumpkin -- 67, passed away in the comfort of her home on Feb. 28, 2019 in Heron, Montana. A private family gathering will take place this summer.

Susan was born Sept. 25, 1951, in Pittsburg, California, to Ulric and Iva Woods. She was raised with her four siblings and attended Pacifica High School there. She married Henry Eaton on Nov. 5, 1977. The family relocated to Heron, Montana, in 1980. Together with Henry, they owned Kootenai Feed in Libby.

She enjoyed the simple life in Montana while raising her children. Helping others was very important to her and she donated her time working for the food bank. Later in life she traveled to Florida and Las Vegas with family and friends. While exploring the sights, she discovered the excitement of ziplines and skydiving.

She is survived by her sister, Joyce Douglas of Sidney, Montana; sons, Richard Eaton of Fresno, California, and Ronald Eaton of Heron, Montana; daughters, Natalie Davis, and Connie Eaton of Modesto, California; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Ulric and Euell Woods; and her sister, Wanda Wright.

Lakeview Funeral Home in Sandpoint is handling the arrangements. Please visit Susan’s online memorial at www.lakeviewfuneral.com and sign her guest book.
