Troy Bible class for all students

| March 12, 2019 4:26 AM

The Troy Ministerial Alliance and other Troy area pastors are pleased to announce a new Bible class in the fall of 2019 for the students of Troy High School and home schoolers during the school day.

It is a program called Release Tim, and students will have the opportunity to attend during their school day. At this time no credit will be offered for this class, and high school students and homeschoolers will need the permission of their parent or guardian to attend.

The classes will be held at the Door of Hope Church located at 217 Mineral Avenue, Troy. This location provides easy access for students (one block from Troy Middle-High School), while also being off campus, allowing this religious instruction to take place on non-government property.

The school district will incur no cost associated with this program.

We believe this Release Time program will serve as a great support to our schools, and by teaching Biblical values, the school’s mission statement is reflected and enhanced.

We desire the students’ learning to positively impact their families, the school and the society in which we live.

A public meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 19 at 6 p.m. at the Door of Hope Church. We would encourage any parent or student with questions to attend the meeting or contact pastor Terry Meroney at 406-295-4758 or tmeroney55@msn.com.
