The Experimental Aircraft Association is offering to fly Lincoln County children up by the Cabinet Mountains for free and is even giving them a chance to fly on their own, July 13 at the Libby Airport.

Paul Parker, an organizer for EAA chapter, said children will be able to fly on their own with the help of a co-pilot.

The event, named the Young Eagles Rally, is hosted by the EAA chapter 102 and is open to children ages 8 through 17. Approval from a parent/legal guardian is required for children interested in flying.

The rally will start at 8 a.m. and go untill 1 p.m, weather permitting. For questions, Parker can be reached at 406-212-2008 or at 4parker1956@gmail.com.
