Victor John (Buck) Lockwood

Victor John (Buck) Lockwood, 74, passed away at his home in Sanger, Texas of natural causes on November 9, 2018.

Buck was born Oct 26, 1945. He was raised and went to school in Troy until he enlisted in the Army after which he made his home in Sanger, Texas.

He is survived by his son, William Lockwood, daughter-in-law Nadia Lockwood of Burelson, Texas, stepdaughter, Shiela Kresse of Denton, Texas, sisters Mary Jo Downey and Linda Gregory of Troy, and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father Bill and Edith Lockwood, his wife Lou Lockwood and his brothers Harold and Wally.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at the Milnor Lake Cemetery at 11 a.m., June 27, 2019, with a reception to follow at the Troy VFW Hall.
