•Wednesday., July 24, Noon: Libby Friends of the Library Lemonade on the Lawn. “Are you smarter than a 5th grader?” quiz and trivia game on the lawn of the Libby Public Library. The game will challenge teams about knowledge in four categories: math, social studies, language arts and Montana facts. You can come as an individual and join with others to form a team, or you can come with your own team. The presentation is free and open to the public, with lemonade and cookies provided (you can bring your own lunch if you wish).

•Thu., July 25, 3 p.m.: Farmers Market at Libby from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the lawn at Libby Chamber of Commerce.

•Thu., July 25, 5:30 p.m.: The Community Prayer Group meets in the upstairs community room at First Montana Bank, 504 Mineral Ave., Libby, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The topic of the prayer focus for July is World Missions. There will also be time for prayers for our nation and transformational revival in our community. The Community Prayer Group is an interdenominational gathering of Christians who meet the second and fourth Thursdays every month. All who are willing to join in prayer are welcome. •Fri., July 26, 3:30 p.m.: Troy Farmers Market at the Troy Museum from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

•Fri., July 26, 7 p.m.: Kootenai River Stampede at J. Neils Memorial Park; gates open at 6 p.m. Tickets are available at the Libby Chamber of Commerce, Timberline Auto Sales, Printing Press, Homesteaders Feed and Supply, High Spirits Liquor Store and the Silver Spur Restaurant in Troy, or online at www.rodeoticket.com. Tickets are $8 presale and $10 at the gate for seniors, veterans and students Tickets are $12 presale for all other adults and $16 at the gate. Children 6 years old and under are free. Special event: Alberta miniature chuckwagon races.

•Sat., July 27, 11 a.m.: Yaak Farmer’s Market at the Yaak River Tavern and Mercantile from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

•Sat., July 27, 1:30 p.m.: Junior Ranger Day: “Backpacking, Then and Now” at Libby Dam from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Focus Age 5-13 years old, all ages welcome, must be accompanied by an adult. Programs are approximately 30 minutes. Please come early to get a good spot.

•Mon., July 29, 6 p.m.: Shakespeare in The Parks at LibbyElementary School from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Admission is free.

•Wednesday., July 31, 10 a.m.: A “Fighting Fraud Workshop” for senior citizens, veterans and their families at 40 11th Street W, Suite 200 in Kalispell. Presented by the office of Rep. Greg Gianforte, the workshop will feature representatives from the Federal Trade Commission, U.S. Postal Inspection Service and Senior Medicare Patrol, among others. Space is limited.
