The Montana Department of Transportation would like to notify the public and seek comments on a proposal to install new guardrail at three different locations. Site one is 10.6 miles east of Libby on Highway 37. Site two is 4.6 miles south of Hot Springs on Highway 28. Site three is at the Gold Creek Interchange, 11.9 miles east of Drummond on Interstate 90.

Proposed work includes installing new guardrail and signing. The purpose of the project is to improve roadside safety and address crash trends.

The project is tentatively scheduled for construction in 2022, depending on completion of all project development activities and availability of funding.

No new right-of-way or utility relocations will be needed.
