Nov. 28

3:22 a.m.

County authorities investigated a report of an individual donning a headlamp walking around property on State Highway 37. The caller suspected the individual was trying to get into vehicles.

6:04 a.m.

Disturbance

A Three Corners Trailer Park resident reported that their neighbors bang on their windows whenever they go outside.

9:24 a.m.

Public assistance

A Granite Avenue resident reported her 10-year-old son was being unruly and not cleaning up after himself. The caller said her son has a history of violence against her.

10:17 a.m.

Civil complaint

A Farm to Market Road resident reported being kicked out of the house he is renting from his significant other’s mother.

6:17 p.m.

Public assistance

A welfare check was requested on an elderly man seen in the gazebo at Asa Wood Elementary School. The caller suspected the man was living there.

9:16 p.m.

Animal complaint

A caller reported hearing a dog barking near the intersection of Pine Court and Cedar Street for several hours. The caller said the canine sounded injured, not bored or looking for attention.

Nov. 29

2:01 a.m.

Suspicious person

A woman asked to leave a local watering hole began filming from outside the door. She allegedly was telling people she was armed. Libby Police located the suspect, who was unarmed. She was getting a ride, they reported.

5:35 a.m.

Disturbance

A Farm to Market Road resident reported that someone in his friend’s apartment threatened to use a knife. The caller left the home to call the authorities. Sheriff’s deputies responded but none of the stories told by the individuals involved matched one another.

9:52 a.m.

Fire

First responders were alerted to a chimney fire on Terrace View Road.

12:22 p.m.

Fraud

A Farm to Market Road resident reported that she received a fraudulent check for a loan and was instructed to buy eBay cards with the money. She invested $600 before the bank informed her the check was bad.

8:42 p.m.

Civil complaint

A West Poplar Street resident requested information about removing her ex-boyfriend from her home.

3:32 p.m.

Assault

A caller reported that he jumped out of a moving vehicle after getting into a fight with a friend.

3:39 p.m.

Harassment, threat, intimidation

A Cedar Hill Road resident reported being stalked by a neighbor, who he said was a drug dealer.

5:51 p.m.

Traffic accident

First responders arrived at the scene of a vehicle rollover near mile marker 44 of U.S. Highway 2. Witnesses reported the vehicle speeding and swerving prior to the crash. At least one person was flown to Kalispell for medical treatment.

7:04 p.m.

Public assistance

A caller reported that she had not heard from her husband who had gone hunting in the Libby area with a coworker. She called back later to report making contact with her husband. The pair had briefly gotten lost.

8:10 p.m.

Motor vehicle theft

A Cedar Meadow Road resident called to report her car missing. She suspected her granddaughter had stolen it. The caller later said it was a miscommunication and that her granddaughter was returning with the vehicle.

Dec. 1

12:45 a.m.

Disturbance

A caller reported that an individual was causing a commotion inside a local convenience store. The individual left in a small vehicle without the lights on and headed east on U.S. Highway 2.

10:58 a.m.

Public safety

A caller reported hunters shooting deer within city limits.

1:35 p.m.

Motor vehicle theft

A Virginia Hill resident reported her vehicle being taken without permission.
