A Dome Mountain Avenue resident reported a deer with its leg stuck in a fence. The deer later freed itself. The resident told authorities they would call back if they found the deer injured later in the morning.

A Farm to Market Road resident reported an individual spotlighting all night long while making noises similar to an animal dying.

A Farm to Market Road resident sought to speak with law enforcement about an advertisement sign placed on the corner of his property. He agreed to give the owner of the sign until spring to remove it, but he needs it taken away now.

State Highway Department personnel reported an individual dressed in black walking along U.S. Highway 2.

A Forest Avenue resident reported a small Doberman pinscher running around and chasing deer.

A Parmenter Avenue resident reported that a neighbor’s horses were out. Authorities contacted the owner, who corralled the animals.

Authorities arrested Charles Drury on possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia charges.

A Pioneer Road resident reported ongoing harassment. Authorities served an individual with a no trespass.

Authorities responded to a report of a vehicle that dropped firewood on U.S. Highway 2.

Authorities charged Chelshea N. Faber for driving under the influence, fourth or subsequent offense following an accident near mile marker 55 of U.S. Highway 2.

Disturbance
Authorities responded to a report of a fight outside a local drinking establishment. First responders found a man lying in the middle of the road. He declined medical attention.

Harassment, threat, intimidation
A Milnor Lake Road resident reported that a man he does not wish to speak with is contacting him. The resident said he would call back to talk to a deputy as he was going back to bed.

A missing dog was reunited with its owner on U.S. Highway 2.

A woman turned over a house key to authorities she found in the parking lot of a local museum.

Authorities pulled over a motorist traveling along U.S. Highway 2 for driving erratically. The motorist was spoken to regarding their driving habits and warned for driving with expired registration.

Authorities separated an individual found walking around downtown Libby from two juveniles traveling with him. The two minors were returned to a responsible adult, officials said.

A City Service Road resident reported a suspected attempted burglary. The back door was unlocked and open when it is usually closed.

A Timber Lane resident reported his neighbor’s dogs barking at all hours of day and night.

Traffic stop
Authorities arrested Shelby Ward, 36, on an unspecified charge following a traffic stop near the intersection of 1st Street and Montana Avenue in Libby. Officials towed Ward’s vehicle and brought in the K9 unit for a drug sniff.
