Nurse anesthetist joins Cabinet Peaks
Cabinet Peaks Medical Center recently welcome Robin Olsen, CRNA to its anesthesia and surgical teams.
Olsen is a certified registered nurse anesthetist who is licensed in Montana with Advanced Practice Registered Nurse prescribing privileges. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists as well as the Montana Association of Nurse Anesthetists and certified by the National Board of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists.
Olsen is BLS, ACLS, and PALS certified. She received her nursing degree from Winona State University in Winona, Minn., and her master’s degree from Mayo School or Health Sciences in Rochester, Minn. She and her family come to Montana from the Minnesota and Wisconsin areas, where she worked at another Critical Access Hospital in northern Wisconsin.
“I graduated from Great Falls High School in Great Fall, where my dad was stationed in the Air Force twice. My husband and I had always wished there was some way to get back to Montana, so when I was looking for a job, I started searching here,” stated Olsen. “I wanted to be in the mountains with trees and water, and Libby was the perfect answer. I love small town and community hospitals.”

Olsen moved to Libby with her husband, Anderw (AJ). Together they have three grown children: Jaynie, 22, who is married and just had her first child; Ellora, 20, who starts at Bethel University in St. Paul this fall; and Cullen, 18, who is working on his Pharm. Tech certificate at the Mayo Clinic.
