Lemonade on the Lawn
The Libby Friends of the Library will end its summer program, “Lemonade on the Lawn,” by hosting a Montana Conversations program “Bold Women in Montana History” with Beth Judy on Wednesday, Aug. 28. The program will be at the Libby Library at noon. The presentation is free and open to the public, with lemonade and cookies provided.
Hunter education registration
Hunter education courses are open to registration in Libby. The course is free and participants must register online at https://www.register-ed.com/programs/32. The classes will be held at Libby Elementary School on the following dates: Sept. 4 from 6-9 p.m., Sept. 16 from 6:30-9 p.m., Sept. 17 from 6:30-9 p.m., Sept. 18 from 6:30-9 p.m., Sept. 19 from 6:30-9 p.m., Sept. 20 from 6:30-9 p.m., and Sept. 21 from 9-11:30 a.m.
Community Conversations
The Libby Area Chamber of Commerce will host the first ever Community Conversations event Thursday, Oct. 10 at the Dome Theater, 6:30 p.m.
In effort to give members a platform to start a conversation in the community, the Chamber invites any active Chamber business or organization to take the stage. Members will be given the opportunity to present on past and current projects, and provide information on the areas of involvement.
This is a free event that is open to the entire community.

Farmers Market
The next Libby Farmers Market is Aug. 29 from 3-7 p.m. outside of the Chamber of Commerce next to Fireman’s Park. Live music from Ralph Walker. The market is run by a dedicated market committee comprised of Chamber board members, vendors, and interested Libby residents.
Brews for Benefits
Brews for Benefits is at Cabinet Mountain Brewing on Aug. 29 from 6-8 p.m. $1 of each beer sold goes to benefit Libby’s Heritage Museum.
Pilates in the Park
Pilates in the Park, hosted by Pure North Athletic Club, is planned for Aug. 23 at 8:15 a.m., at Riverfront Park. Certified pilates and personal trainer Devi McCully will lead the class. Cornhole Tournament
The ELks host the second annual Cornhole Tournament Aug. 24 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the street in front of the Elks Lodge at 220 W. 4th St. Tournament play begins at noon. Signup on site start at 9 a.m. Two-person teams of all ages and skill levels welcome. Registration fee is $20 per team. Cash prizes offered.
Paddleboard yoga on Koocanusa
Stand up paddleboard yoga and pilates on Lake Koocanusa Aug. 25. Meet at Libby Dam Visitor Center Boat Launch at 5:15 p.m. Visit online at www.studiobmontana.com.
Live music at brewery
Wolf and The Moons will be performing live at The Cabinet Mountain Brewing Co. Aug. 30 from 5-8 p.m. The Americana band is based in Missoula.
