NATIONAL FOREST TIMBER FOR SALE KOOTENAI NATIONAL FOREST The Laughing Ant Timber Sale is located within Portions of Sections 5, 6, T34N, R25W, Lincoln County, State of Montana, PMM. The Forest Service will receive sealed bids in public at Eureka Ranger Station, Eureka, MT at 10:00 AM local time on 05/29/2019 for an estimated volume of 2179 ton of Douglas-fir and Other sawtimber marked or otherwise designated for cutting. In addition, there is within the sale area an estimated volume of 409 ton of Combined Softwood non-saw that the bidder agrees to remove at a fixed rate. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Interested parties may obtain a prospectus from the office listed below. The THIN CANOE Timber Sale includes an estimated 1,054 TONS of DF & Other Sawlog timber (equivalent to 339 CCF) designated for removal located within portions of Sections 7, 8, and 18 T30N, R29W, PMM, Lincoln County, State of Montana. There is an unestimated amount of NON-SAWLOG Timber which may be included as Timber Subject to Agreement. This is a WEIGHT MEASUREMENT sale and all rates will be bid and paid for at a rate per TON.
