Flathead Valley Community College’s Continuing Education Center is now accepting registrations for its summer lineup of youth camps and adult classes.

Kid’s College offers a variety of half-day courses for children and teens featuring subjects such as LEGO robotics, culinary arts, ballet and more. Morning and afternoon classes are available during select weeks of the summer.

This year’s Kid’s College schedule also includes an expanded lineup of Black Rocket digital arts camps for children who will be entering third through ninth grades this fall. Black Rocket camps such as “Make Your First Video Game,” “Minecraft Designers,” “ROBLOX Makers” and others are designed to bring students’ ideas to life in a fun, hands-on learning environment.

For additional youth camp information, including dates, times, cost and registration forms, visit www.fvcc.edu/kids-college.

Adult learners have access to more than 50 non-credit classes taught by local experts on the featured subject matters. New this summer are classes on the basics of guiding river rafting trips, home brewing, ceramics and other subjects. In addition, employers and those interested in developing their workplace skills can benefit from new classes in business communication and leadership. The Continuing Education Center also offers computer classes for beginning and experienced users.
