| September 28, 2018 12:06 PM

Jeffrey Lee Swennes was promoted to heaven due to cancer while his daughters sat by his side on Sept. 16, 2018. He was born June 21, 1954, in Kalispell.

He was raised by his parents, Donald and Bernadine Swennes, and graduated high school in Libby. He later continued his education by getting his associates degree in water treatment in Yuma, Arizona. Prior to moving to Arizona he worked for W.R. Grace and Stimson in Libby. He then worked for Far West Water in Yuma. He married Laura Mazziotti on Sept. 4, 1993.

One of his greatest joys was spending time with all his grandkids and taking them out for ice cream. He loved the adrenaline rush he got from skydiving and riding his motorcycle. Jeff was a very talented man, he was an amazing wood carver and bronze sculptor. He also loved playing his guitar and having jam sessions.

Jeff would help any of his friends or family in a heart beat. He was a faithful man of God and loved the Lord. He was kind hearted, giving, a jokester and loyal. Jeff had many great qualities. He will be missed by many.

Jeff is survived by his father, Donald; sister Kris; brother Marty; daughters Niki, Cassie and Sara; grandchildren Kaylee, Blace, Lauryn, Cayson, Daniel and Harmony; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
