Medical center auxiliary holds fundraiser Oct. 6 at Libby VFW

The Cabinet Peaks Medical Center Auxiliary will hold its annual fundraiser, the “Fall Frolic,” Oct. 6 at Libby VFW Post No. 1548. Proceeds will benefit the purchase of medical equipment and the crafting of hand-made quilts for each new baby born at the hospital.

The event starts at 12:30 p.m. with a lunch — which includes three different soups, fresh rolls and dessert — as well as a silent auction of gift baskets, hand-crafted goods and items donated from local businesses, Laura Ercanbrack will be emcee, and Rita Sands of Columbia Falls will entertain with her trunk show of over 150 vintage aprons.

Tickets cost $7 each. A table of eight can be reserved for $60, entitling all eight to be entered into a special prize drawing. Tickets can be purchased from Auxilary members, at the medical center gift shop or Managhan’s Furniture, or by calling 406-293-5715.
