Rosendale broke promise

| October 19, 2018 4:00 AM

I’ve been appalled by some of the ads placed in the current election. Mr. Rosendale says he is a “straight shooter.” He states that Mr. Tester has not kept his promises.

In reality, Mr. Rosendale also has not kept his promises to the people of Montana.

In 2016, Mr. Rosendale came to the people of Montana and asked them to vote for him for State Auditor. That position has a four-year term. The people of Montana elected him for the auditor position.

Now in 2018, just halfway through his term, Mr. Rosendale is asking Montana to vote for him again even though he still has two years left as auditor. He hasn’t resigned, he is just not going to live up to the promise he made to us if we again elect him in 2018. Mr. Rosendale has no integrity.

Mr. Rosendale might think he is a “straight shooter,“ but he has shown that he is not willing to abide by the 2016 promise he made to the people of Montana. Mr. Rosendale speaks with a forked tongue.

Mr. Rosendale fooled us in the 2016 election. Now he wants our vote again.

Mr. Rosendale, there is a saying: Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
