| November 13, 2018 3:00 AM

Joseph W. Wade, 81, of Libby passed away peacefully in his home Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on Oct. 25, 1937 to Ivan and Agnita Wade.

Joe had a passion for fireworks and gold panning. He loved to light up the sky with exploding colors and to see the joy on people’s faces as they oohed and aahed. He was born in Brooklyn, but throughout his 81 years he traveled to many places before settling in Montana in the mid 80s where he met the love of his life, Charlotte and was married to her for 18 years before her passing in 2009. Joe had a full life and told many wonderful stories of all the adventures he had along the way.

He is and will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.

He leaves behind his son Kevin, wife Shayla and grandsons Christian and Zacch; son Tim, wife Nicole and granddaughters Darian and Elise; daughters Elaina and Valerie and grandkids Christian and MacKenzie; and his beloved cat Gold Eye.

A celebration of life will be held at 4 p.m. at the American Legion in Libby on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018. Arrangements are by Schnackenberg Funeral Home in Libby.
